FROM THE CEO’S DESK

FROM THE CEO’S DESK
Thank you to everyone who exhibited, competed and attended our 1st Annual Fall Harvest Festival & Freedom Rodeo! It was a huge success! We had 157 total exhibits, and 43 entries into our first Cannabis Division.

Vendors sold food, beverage, and commercial products, and there was Live Music both Friday and Saturday night at the Barn Dance.
The Barrel Racing included riders from the north state on both Saturday and Sunday and the

Extreme Bulls and Broncs had 14 Bull Riders and 10 Bronc Riders, who came from California, Nevada, and other Western States.

We can't forget the kids, Mutton Bustin' was the most talked about event of the weekend, but my favorite was watching the 2-4 year olds in the Stick Horse Races.

The feedback from those who attended has been very positive, so we are planning for the 2nd weekend in September (not opening deer rifle weekend), we look forward to 2023 and continuing this Fall Tradition!

Another first is coming up October 27-31st, with our Haunted Homestead at the fairgrounds. It will include Haunted Homestead, Hay Rides, Refreshments from 6pm-9pm and

Hayfork Lions will have Costume Staking in the Skating Rink on Saturday, October 29th, and Cake Walk in the Skating Rink on Sunday, October 30th.
Then on Halloween night we will have a Trunk or Treat, where anyone wanting to hand out Halloween Goodies can come to the Fairgrounds Parking Lot

and the kids can Trick Or Treat all in one safe place, with Hocus Pocus also playing on a big screen in the Parking Lot!

In the Dining Hall on November 26th & December 3rd will be our 2nd Annual Pancakes with Santa from 10 - Noon,

then from 2pm - 8pm the 2nd Annual Festival of Trees & Christmas Bazaar, with the Tree Drawings at 8pm on December 3rd!

Tickets for the Christmas Trees are $1/each, where you win all the gifts under the tree, the tree and the decorations, so be sure to get your raffle tickets!

All profits from Fundraisers throughout the year go to provide Entertainment at the Annual Trinity County Fair!

As your Trinity County Fair CEO, I would like to personally thank you for your continued support, without our generous community we wouldn't have our Little Country Fair!
