FROM THE CEO’S DESK
FALL 2023
Happy Fall! If you haven't been by the Fairgrounds since Fair we were activated as a USFS Fire Camp the middle of August, which lasted through September 14th. Due to Fire Camp we had to cancel
the 2nd Annual Harvest Festival but were able to adapt the Freedom Rodeo entrance as to not disrupt Fire Camp. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Freedom Rodeo!
The numbers didn't work to our benefit, and we lost money, which we anticipated due to the cancellation of the events that would have been on the Fairgrounds. Our goal was to still provide this
modified event for our community. On a positive note, moving Fair to July was again the right decision to avoid this scenario during Fair.
We are excited to again bring another Fun Fall Event to Trinity County, the 2nd Annual Haunted Homestead is scheduled for Friday - October 27th, Saturday - October 28th, and Tuesday - October 31st.
We will have all your Halloween Favorites - Haunted Homestead with the Mountain Actors Workshop - Food & Beverages with Service Organizations and Hayfork Elementary & High School Students -
Haunted Hayrides - Professional Photographer for pictures of your little goblins - added this year Local Grown Pumpkins & Bigfoot Motorsports is hosting a Halloween Costume Enduro Race
with prizes for Best Costume (both driver & kids) and Grandstand BINGO!
We had a break in our Monthly BINGO due to Fire Camp, but it is back September 30th with the Progressive Pot still building with an additional $100 a month added; if no one wins the progressive pot before
November 25th BINGO, the total Progressive Pot will be added to the final Black Out Game and the winner will have extra $$ for the Holidays!
2023 Holiday Events include November Veterans Appreciation Enduro Race with Grandstand BINGO - 3rd Annual Pancakes with Santa - 3rd Annual Festival of Trees & Christmas Bazaar!
Other exciting changes coming are tiered Trinity County Fair Association Memberships which offer a variety of benefits to our Members, Sponsorship Packages for Special Events & Fair with Sponsor's Benefits,
and All Access Passes for multi-day events including Fair.
All profits from Fundraisers throughout the year go to provide Entertainment at the Annual Bigfoot BBQ, Trinity County Fair, and Harvest Festival & Freedom Rodeo!
As your Trinity County Fair CEO, I would like to personally thank you for your continued support, without our generous community we wouldn't have our Little Country Fair and Special Events throughout the year!
